Accessibility
Everyone who needs us should be able to use this site.
The families we care for include people who use screen readers, keyboards, voice control, captions and larger text. We build this site for all of them, and if it fails you anywhere, we want to hear about it.

We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium. They’re the guidelines most accessibility laws and policies point to.
Every build
What we check before anything ships.
- Automated checks on every pageEvery page, at phone and desktop sizes, goes through axe, a standard accessibility testing engine, before a build ships.
- A keyboard walk of every pageEvery link and button reached with the keyboard alone, the focus ring always showing and never hidden behind the header or a floating button.
- Room to readWider letter, word and line spacing and screens as narrow as 320 pixels, with nothing cut off and nothing pushed off the side.
- Contrast you can seeText and controls checked against the contrast the guidelines ask for, on light and dark backgrounds.
- Motion that stopsAnything that moves on its own settles within seconds or has its own pause button, and the page holds still when your device asks for less motion.
- Targets made for fingersButtons and links big enough to tap on a phone.

Two parts of the site live on other services: the secure referral forms run on Jotform, and our films play from YouTube. They follow those services’ own accessibility. Anything those forms take, both lines take too.
